Key Contributions:
- Proposed and helped initiate and direct a strategy to consolidate
the ~25 applications into a core set of common applications
that can manage all of ETA’s program needs through a reusable
and configurable base system. This re-architecture reduces the
number of applications to support and centralizes data for better
management and reporting – saving ETA and DOL in future
development and maintenance costs.
- Helping to establish, apply, and enforce adherence to CMMI
Level 3 standards as both a Software Engineering Process Group
(SEPG) member and CMMI implementer.
- Implementing structured release schedules for maintenance
releases.
- Created workflow and processes around support requests, reinforced
through written procedures, to better account for and track
the volume of work the team is doing.
- Begun a long range plan to re-baseline all system documentation
that has become fragmented or inadequate from years of disparate
